New Products

Rhodia Notepads and Notebooks

We are very pleased to announce that we have limited stock of Rhodia Notebooks and Notepads.

Rhodai Notepads

We had a period of inactivity due to the South African Distributor dropping the product, cutting off our source of supply. We have managed to Indent a special order for us exclusively. Never write in a dull notebook again - use Rhodia.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Rhodia, these economical pads are a favourite of artists, designers, calligraphers, crafters and writers. People love Rhodia pads for their grids, smooth paper and unique scored cover which folds back neatly. The stiff back cover makes writing easy and portable. All Rhodia paper is acid-free and ink-friendly. Their bright orange covers make them instantly recognizable in the store or on the street. The recently-introduced black and white covers are a modern twist. Rhodia has been around since the 1930s.

Of significance to writing enthusiasts, the paper is fountain pen ink friendly, no bleeding through, blotting or smudging.

Stocks are running out fast, so please order as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Moleskine Notebooks

We were both sad and disheartened when the South African Distributor of Moleskine filed for bankruptcy, cutting our source of supply for this fantastic product too.

We are elated that a new Distributor has been appointed and stocks are starting to arrive once again.

The Moleskine brand was created in 1997, bringing back to life the legendary notebook used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries, such as Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Bruce Chatwin. Moleskine is a creative company enjoying continuing growth.

Moleskine is an Italian manufacturer, papermaker and product designer founded in 1997 by Francesco Franceschi, based in Milan, Italy. It produces and designs luxury notebooks, as well as planners, sketchbooks, leather backpacks, holdalls, journals, wallets, various accessories, and stationery.

Parker Jotter XL Ballpoint Pen

Parker Pen Company has produced the classic and timeless and best-selling Jotter ballpoint pen since 1954, with an estimated production of over 750 million pens during the pen's life. The Parker Jotter is the standard for ballpoint pens. Its iconic plastic grip section and stainless steel barrel prominently feature the iconic arrow-shaped clip. It's failing for many people has been its size - it is a skinny and lightweight pen, making it less comfortable to use for some people. In 2017 the Parker Pen Company addressed this by introducing a larger version of the same pen design - the Parker Jotter XL. In our opinion, it's a game-changer.

Parker Jotter XL

The Jotter and Jotter XL are the same design of pen but on a different scale. Where the base Jotter comes with a plastic grip section, the XL's grip section is made of metal, giving the pen a more solid hand-feel. Parker does make special editions of the regular Jotter with metal grips (see our parker products). However, the most common is still plastic with a metal tip to protect the refills end. Parker classifies the Jotter XL as 7% bigger, which doesn't sound like much but makes a considerable difference in hand-feel. Depending on your writing style, either pen could be good for you. Still, as pens have become larger in general over the last 60+ years, We believe that many people may prefer the slightly larger pen. (Source: writeexperience.com blog).
