The Lamy AION attains a completely new level of quality in the Modern Writing sector. Each element of its seamless deep – drawn aluminium body lends a uniquely harmonious appearance to the range. The body and cap feature attractive brushed finishes which contrast the LAMY aion’s blasted grip as well as its glossy nib and polished clip. A silk-matt anodised coating in Dark Blue emphasizes the range’s high-quality finish, complemented by its spring-loaded clip with the logo embossed on the side. The fountain pen has a stainless steel nib with a new contour – an expressive element which blends in perfectly with the overall concept of the LAMY aion, designed by Jasper Morrison. The LAMY Aion is the first Lamy fountain pen to be equipped with a series-exclusive, newly formed nib. Jasper Morrison gave it an unconventionally-proportioned outline, thus giving the writing instrument an avant-garde character. The grip zone is matted and thus finely accented.
The housing parts, which are now seamlessly deep-drawn from aluminium, give the series a unique, harmonious appearance.Brushed and blasted surfaces create formal tension that is refined with a semi-glossy anodized layer finish.The massive looking high-gloss polished clip rounds off the overall concept perfectly.
