The colour of the ink leans towards the bluer spectrum and is true to its name as it is indeed dark green. Pelikan 4001 Dark Green fountain pen ink is a deep, rich shade of green that rinses easily from your pen and has good flow. It is a simple medium green colour that sits slightly on the cooler green to blue hue range. A pleasant colour with little shading or sheening in average nibs on normal paper. On average paper the colour appears slightly lighter. Like all Pelikan inks, it has beautiful flow, behaves beautifully and will suit any good quality fountain pen. This ink is not water resistant. It's a really pretty ink and inexpensive to boot!
