Van Dieman’s Launceston Fog from the Tassie Seasons (Winter) series is an unsaturated green-brown ink with medium shading. 

The city of Launceston, located between the North Esk and South valleys, experiences heavy fog during the winter season that often leads to traffic disruptions. This ink captures the varying light and darkness of the city during this time with its impressive shading range from almost black to the lightest grey in the Van Dieman Range.

The ink has a subtle brownish tint and is perfect for drawing, sketching, and ink washing as it offers a wide range of depth and texture. With smooth flow from any medium or broad-nibbed pen, this ink is ideal for artists seeking to express their creative vision.

Tassie Seasons is part of Van Dieman's growing collection of Tasmanian Fountain Pen Inks and represents the 16 changing colours of Tasmania, with each season represented by four inks. It dries in 30 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a dry flow, and is supplied in a 30ml glass bottle.
