Product Info

This Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen is acid-etched and printed to recreate the iconic WWII fighter plane. It features Retro 51's newly designed fountain pen grip and nib. It fills via standard international cartridge/converter and has a smooth-writing unbranded JoWo #6 steel nib. It comes packaged in a tube that doubles as a pen stand, along with a converter and two black short standard international ink cartridges.

The Retro51 P-51 Mustang takes flight again as a fountain pen. The pen features a unique barrel design with antique finish. Acid- etched + printing to recreate classic WWII plane. The P-51 Mustang is finely crafted in solid metal that is acid etched to produce “rivets” along the barrel, and printed to recreate the markings on the classic plane. The trim is stone washed to give it an antique silver look. The P-51 Mustang fountain pen has the all new German made nib. The new German nib is longer, stronger and more responsive with every stroke. The front section is now made of brass for improved balance and is contoured for a better grip.
