The Parker "100" inherits its lineage from the renowned Parker "51", designed by Geoff Hollington, known for his work on the Insignia and Sonnet collections. While drawing inspiration from the Parker "51", Hollington has skillfully imbued the Parker "100" with distinct and captivating features.
Originally, Parker aimed to fill the price segment between the Sonnet and the Duofold with the Sonnet Premier. However, they opted to introduce a new model, the Parker "100", which debuted in the 2004 catalogue, touted as a pen embodying "the perfect combination of understated status and sharp, individual style." Phased out in 2006.
The pen boasts a cap adorned with gold-plated trims, complementing the body crafted from multiple layers of ivory lacquer on a brass base, finished with a cap ring for added elegance.
This pen is in pristine condition. Fitted with a black Rollerball Refill, it is shipped in a beautiful inner clamshell box which sits in a hard outer box. A spare refill and booklet is included. It appears to have not been used at all. As new.
Thanks to their twisted triangular ergonomic shape, they lie perfectly in the hand and result in fatigue-free writing.
