Van Dieman's Underwater - Parrot Fish Shimmer Fountain Pen Ink

The Van Dieman's Parrot Fish Fountain Pen Ink is from Underwater series and is the seventh collection from Van Dieman’s Ink, inspired by the unique and captivating beauty of the ocean's flora, fauna, regions and secrets.

The collection boasts sixteen shimmering inks for fountain pens, including the Parrot Fish, a vibrant and lively ink that embodies the turquoise hues and vivid purple shimmer of this colorful underwater creature.

The entire Underwater series underwent a complete overhaul in 2022, with new technology and premium ingredients used to enhance the quality and performance of the inks. The reformulated inks contain a minimum of 95% Australian ingredients and are meticulously crafted in small batches in Launceston, Australia.

The reformulated inks have improved flow, reduced feathering and bleeding, and feature high-quality dyes and minimal additional chemicals, all approved for food and cosmetic use.

This shimmering, turquoise blue ink dries in about 20 seconds and has a medium flow and shading with a medium nib on Rhodia paper and is supplied in a 30ml bottle.

Please note that this is a dye-based ink, suitable for dip pens and brushwork, but check with your fountain pen manufacturer for compatibility with shimmer inks. Shake the bottle before use, and be cautious and maintain your fountain pen regularly as this ink contains particulate matter.
